Tracer 3000 - mobile video monitoring

Loss prevention is playing an ever increasing role in the field of transportation logistics. The tracer 3000 was developed especially for mobile video monitoring. The system is available in a 4 or 8 Channel Version and is characterised particularly by its high resolution, a picture recording rate of 60 picture/second and also by it sturdiness.

Extensive interfaces such as 2x RS-232, 2x USB, LINE in, LAN and VGA LINE out make the system a more than adequate video monitoring server.

The reliability and robustness of the system, endowed with Linux technology, make its utilisation possible under even the most difficult conditions. It can also handle a load of up to 6 g without trouble.

The small size of the system permits installation into a very small space and also in most conceivable locations in the vehicle.

The lockable 2,5"-removeable drive enables the safe changing of drives by only authorised users.

A 12-Volt-connection suffices to make the system ready for use. The battery question thus becomes no problem.

Areas of application include among them public transportation, buses, trains - in particular the avoidance of Vandalism and the security of the passengers (drivers can recognise encroachments etc. on the monitor).

The safety of sales vehicles, building sites, unsecured areas and public transportation without connection to the usual power grid, so neccesary for transmitting data (ISDN, DSL), is hereby assured by taking away their need to have a dedicated power supply.

Transmission of data is here facilitated by the use of UMTS or GPRS (portable radio transmission standard), in order to view videos recorded a long way away. Thanks to Linux technology the transmission is particularly fast over the GSM net via GPRS or UMTS.

Additional alarm systems can be linked onto the integrated  I/Os such as door/window contacts, photelectric barriers or motion sensors. This is a useful function for the monitoring of outdoor areas or the permanent observation of vacent properties and offices. It is also possible to trigger an external alarm function such as a siren or a signal notifying the authorities and / or an emergency and service coordination centre.

Remote configuration of the TCP/IP connection (LAN, UMTS, GPRS) is possible through the use of the free remote control software.

The playing of recorded videos is equally problem-free in this way. Its operation is intuitive and almost self explanatory.
