Characteristics
With a picture resolution of 704 x 576 pixels and 160 pictures per second, this system manages to fulfill even the most exacting requirements. Simple operability is a substantial element in the success of the system. It is also easy to master for those without IT or computer training.

Problem free integration of the system into an existing network enables access to the video data from anywhere in that network, or anywhere in the world via the internet. Access is naturally restricted through the use of user names and passwords. The integrated cideo web server ensures that pictures and video data can be viewed simply, via the web browser or the PDRMPEG4 client.
The integrated alarm function in conjunction with a time schedule makes it possible to, for example, take an alarm triggered picture of the intruder and automatically send it via email, to a mobile phone or a PDA, should a user gain access outside of normal operating hours. Every registered movement can then be automatically tracked by the system, if so desired.
Using as a basis the preprogrammed event list in your PDR system, you can receive a quick overview of events through any one of the available cameras. It is possible then to acertain at a glance who is in the warehouse, in the offices or at the door.
I/O board : Through the optional I/O board additional alarm devices can be linked to the system, such as door and window contacts, photoelectric barriers or motion sensors. This is a useful function for monitoring external or unoccupied areas / rooms. It is also possible to trigger an external alarm function such as a siren or a signal notifying the authorities and / or an emergency and service coordination centre.
Playback function/PDR-Player : The playback can be made by means of the systems integrated player or by the included PDR Player software. Through the simple input of date and time you see the desired video sequence within seconds. One feature of the system is that you see only video sequences in which something is actually happened in front of the camera, which is facilitated by movement recognition protocols in the system.
Compatibility
In conjunction with the optional removable drive system and the free PDR Player software, video data can be viewed and evaluated on any computer system. Relevant video sequences can be exported simply as BMP, JPEG or in the AVI Videoformat, which can be viewed on any regular Windows computer. The optional professional digital recording system, complete with data base software, makes a fast and effective evaluation feesible.
